Hawzah News Agency- The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom has strongly condemned the recent “incoherent and delusional rants” of the US president, describing them as a clumsy attempt to drive a wedge between Iranian officials and disrupt the country’s solid national cohesion.
In a statement released on Saturday, the high-ranking body of clerics lambasted the American leader for his provocative remarks, in which he cynically labeled a segment of Iranian authorities as “extremists” and others as “moderates”—a transparent ploy to fabricate division where none exists.
“The most striking feature of these blessed days in the Islamic Republic of Iran is national unity and solidarity,” the statement read. “This unity is firmly established and visible across all pillars of the Islamic establishment, revolving around the wise directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.”
The Society extended its congratulations on the “exemplary cohesion” among the three branches of government, the Armed Forces, and the Iranian people. It cautioned that such harmony is the nation’s “vital source of strength” and a primary target of the enemy’s soft war.
“The Society calls on everyone to remain fully vigilant against the enemy’s psychological operations and propaganda warfare,” the statement emphasized. “Their goal is clear: to sow doubt, spread despair, and inflict damage on the unity of the nation.”
The scholars reiterated that the US president’s remarks—born of what they called “delusional and malignant intent”—will only backfire, further solidifying the resolve of Iranian officials and the public. They urged all political factions and military institutions to ignore the enemy’s divisive narratives and instead focus on the shared goal of national progress under the framework of the Leader’s guidelines.
“Thanks to this integrity, we bow in gratitude at the divine threshold,” the statement concluded, while warning that any attempt to break Iran’s united front is doomed to fail.
The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, one of the most influential religious bodies in the country, has a long history of issuing decisive statements in the face of foreign psychological operations, particularly those originating from Washington.
